Drunk Drivers Get Right to Drive Restored

It is no surprise that the North Carolina Legislature agreed this week 88-28 to create a procedure so that someone convicted of habitual impaired driving can, if they so request, have their their driving privileges restored. It passed the Senate already and now it will go to Gov. Beverly Perdue for her signature.
